How are you using and with what sort of experience the five options in the jib clew corner and the two positions in the mails sail top concer.

Anyone done recomendation of which slot to use for different wind speed?

Has anyone ordered a cunningham to main, any specs for that?

I also need to change main hallyard to dyneema, what breaking strenght should it be.

1. Jib. For normal conditions I use no 4 (1 is the lower) but your sail may be different. (I have mounted 3 vertical battens on the jib to avoid flap and to get a better shape/trim).
2. Yes,I have mounted cunningham on the main, your sailmaker will know where to place it.
3. Main sail top. Use the hole closest to the mast (forget the other).
4. Halyard. It is not the breaking strength that is importent, but rather how much it will stretch. I think 12 mm thick and good quality will do.

Hi everybody,
how is your ST jib linked  to the sheet block ( shackle, carabiner, soft shakle..etc.)?

Soft shackle, makes it very easy to change the position on the clew.

As others I have 3 vertical battens on Jib.  I also use mainly hole nr 4.

For halyards, 10 mm good quality non stretch dyneema is far enough.  You could also use 8 mm dyneema but this will be too thin for hands and will slip in clutches.
Breaking load is not really that important (remember that clutches will stand only 575 kg and blocks approx 1000 kg).

Cunningham is easy to set.  One piece of 8 mm, one knot at gooseneck, then through the sail.  It is far easier if you set a cascade purchase and run the line to cockpit.
