Thats really great information thanks for that. Im sure thats the issue. It gets very hard to see/ theres no space at the rear of the fuel tank/ lazerette area.

Thanks Issywa that’s really helpful. We are still working on this problem - in between cold fronts that bring shed loads of winter rain to Perth, we are fitting a p-shaped seal on the lid - still not done yet, but when we are and if successful I’ll post some photos!
