I would like to store my liferaft on the sliding hatch garage, but the space seems rather small and the kicking strap is close. Can anybody tell me what works on your boat: type of liferaft, cradle, dimensions, etc. I would like to be able to fold down the sprayhood.

Did you reinforce the fastenings of the garage? Just Parker screws on my boat; seems rather weak for a 30 kg liferaft.

Thanks!
Jan

Have a look here:

Dave built this for his liferaft.

Ask him nicely and pay for the time and materials and he'd probably make you one.

Looks very tidy. I have thought about pushpit mounting, but the stern of my boat is too narrow (301) and the liferaft would interfere with the air flow of the vane gear.

Thanks anyway!
