Lost autopilot

   Last week I lost my Simrad wind input & therefore autopilot 3 times - about every 90 minutes - while sailing with the autopilot in "Wind" mode (sailing to a set wind angle).  The wind reading comes back if I turn off the nav system & turn it back on but it is a little disconcerting when the autopilot alarm suddenly goes off!

I've checked for loose connections where I can.  Haven't been up the mast yet.  Any suggestions??
