Thanks Rob, I didn't realise that the sparcraft mast needed extra tracks to take the Ronstan slides, thought they fiited inside like on selden masts. Can't wait to get the boat next week!

Can imagine the feeling! When our 350 was transported to the Dutch dealer it would pass on a highway close to our house at midnight and as I had to leave for Malaysia for 2 weeks, I realy wanted to so the boat so I phoned the driver were I was standing next to the highway. When he passed me he'd put on all worklights on the trailer, so our 350 passed me highlighted in the middle of the night at 80 km/h........

Enjoy it!!

Rob

Just to confirm,

My 400 is fitted with the Ronstan ball bearing sldes, direct into the Sparcraft slot,  with a fully battened sail. I can pull the main up to within 1m of the top by hand and it drops all the way into the stackpak, flaking itself, even when I am heading some distance off the wind. The system is not cheap, but I have found that it does work well.

Just got an email back from Ronstan:
They recommend the "Ballslide series 8" system with 5 batten cars and 6 intermediate cars as well as the headboard and end stop. Not cheap, but I bet it works!
