I've replaced all the blocks at the base of the mast except for the main sheet. It's stuck and wont rotate. I've tried the "big ass screwdriver" in conjunction with PB Blaster (as well as WD40). I was worried about heat affecting the surrounding fiberglass and have not tried that yet but so far no luck. I actually bent the screwdriver and started to score the edges of the hole that the pin fits in. I was worried about that as well as cracking the mast base plate if I apply too much force.

Dog - did you just use a torch on the plate or?

Pins NOT rotating in the base is not the only problem. Actually, the small tabs that suppose to lock the swiveling of the block does not work on the mast-foot version of synchro block. In my case, the swivel rotated 90 degrees while hoisting with a broken side as result. This then destroyed my new dynema halyard. I have now replaced with the black 72mm synchro and also arranged with a rubber cord to keep the orientation.

I heated the pin with a household torch like you would use to solder copper pipes together.  I did not use alot of heat and was careful not to point it at the plastic.  You may be able to heat just the pin with an electric soldering iron stuck into the shackle hole.  WD-40 and an old screwdriver through the shackle hole to twist the pin.

Make sure you turn anticlockwise to try and free the pin. The pin is threaded into a nut and relies upon being slightly loose to rotate.
