Our new 418 will be arriving at our Hanse distributor in Australia in the next 10 days ready for her 5 week commissioning period.  While I have every confidence in the distributor from their vast Hanse experience and reputation, have any forum members any suggestions/opinions on things to especially watch for on the 418?
Cheers

On our 418 which we took delivery of March last year, which was one of the first, we had the following issues.
1. Fresh Water gauge not registering
2. Terrible WiFi connection in the Saloon when trying to connect to the Zeus 3 with an iPad, required fitting of a GoFree in Saloon.  Turns out Zeus 3 in a steel box not great as a wifi location!
3. Jib was badly fitted and was chaffing at bottom of the run where jib enter track
4. Badly fitting transom, needed removing and realligning
5. Transom Ram badly fitted and ineffective, needed replacing
6. Both fold down seats badly fitted, screws missed reenforcing behind bulkhead, requiring totally refitting with new reinforcemement behind.
7. Rear rigging fouled port side seat requiring new mounting bracket for rigging.
8. Connection to bottom of basin in head split resulting in a leak, watch this one as it did not happen at delivery but a few month later following a few trips and lead to an unseen leak for a few weeks.

All fairly minor and fixed quickly by the dealer in the UK.
