@marcel: this is a picture that every boutbuilder should look at if they put windows into the hull. On our summerholidays it looked many times this way. A lot fun. But with hullwindows i would have had bad feelings.

I understand that you looked at my reply on the new 400 with hull windows Blake.
We were sailing there with force 8 and the hull slamed trough the water in the waves. (and this was on the Haringvliet) and the waves on open see have very much more strength so the force on the windows would be huge!
I am glad not to have hull windows , but that is my opinion...

Hi,
I think that you are unreasonably worried about hull windows. My first boat (First 41s5) has two - actually was the first boat that had them- since 1992. They are still perfect and never had any problem with them. The only measure I took is trying not to put the fenders over them. I am sure that the technology has evolved since 1992 so I suggest you trust them on your boat.

Hallo Panos
You are absolutely right , but Hanse is not always so keen in mounting it the proper way and I do hope for everyone having mounted windows with sika or likewise it wil be good.
Seeing different topics Hanse does it not right I have my doubts about hull windows!
In the first url it shows the windows on top of the cabin not beeing fixed well.
In the last url it says that windows are leaking....
This is Hanse mounting , and not Beneateau with experience frome 40 years.
greetings Marcel

That's a great picture! We had similar conditions last weekend but not so much sun.

I like your gennaker, what's the sail area of it?

Its 105 sqm from tuchwerkstatt.de made by Rolly Tasker.

Works very well.

We did later after this foto was taken, in a 6kn breeze 7kn speed. That was  nice speed in the light conditions. Nobody was faster ;-)

We did also 2 small videos of it:
