Hey Hans,

very nice pics.

Is the island kreupel now open for visitors? This is the small new island (birds island) in front of medemblik and Andijk, am i right?. Did not know that it is allowed to enter this small harbour. What is the regulations right now?

How much waterdepth is in this harbour?

Th jib sheet as a tack line is a good idea.

Hello Peter,

Yes indeed this is the island Kreupel.

It is a paradise for bird watchers as you can see in the picture there is birdsh... all over the place.

The route in to the harbour is about 2.4 meter depth and on our spot it was exactly 2 meters just enough for our 370

only a few weeks ago they opend it for visitors
you pay 1 Euro for 1 meter ship for 1 night

There is nothing to do except bird watching and enjoying the enormous rest it is veryyyyy quite

reg. Hans

My gennaker is only 60 squaremetres which I have come to understand is very small. I don't know why they designed it that way. The result is that I don't use it very often since I don't gain that much speed.
