Hi Rick,
Thank you for the note. I double checked and both breakers are on (breaker just after the inlet plug and the one on the main AC panel). Attached some pictures below. If there is another breaker or fuse somewhere else in the line, maybe I'm missing it. Beginning to wonder if there is a transfer switch in the MultiPlus unit that is faulty. Based on the boats AC wiring diagram, it looks as though AC flows from the aft breaker by the inlet into the MultiPlus where a transfer switch senses the current and depending on the remote control units setting, then passes that current to the "Mains" breaker on the distribution panel at the nav station. Any thoughts? John ![]() ![]() |

The thing that has me confused is the green light. On my boat there is a breaker *BETWEEN* the shore power connection and the main below deck as CE requirements say that you need a breaker within a certain distance of the shore power connection. On my boat its in the cockpit locker. However, when that has popped the green light doesn't go on. Your boat seems to have the green light but no AC voltage which tells me that the power from the voltage stepdown from 230 to 110V isn't happening. The meter reads 0 and not 230V so something isn't getting to the inverter/charger setup. Yet... your green light is on... ?????? |

Hi Rick,
Appreciate your help and agree, that's the odd part. The AC distribution panel at the nav station indicates electrical current is coming into the boat which would indicate that the breaker just aft of the Shore Power inlet (stern locker) is working and the current is making it to the charger/inverter and from there to the AC distribution panel, yet when I flip the breaker on the AC distribution panel, no current flows to the "Mains". I'll disconnect shore power and run the inverter to see if I get AC to the breaker next time I'm on the boat. That's one thing I didn't try. It may be time for a qualified electrician to take a look to determine whether its a breaker or an internal issue with the inverter. John

The only thing I can say is "walk it forward" with a multi-meter. Go from the AC main switch to the inverter/charger. From there to the ATR, etc.. Once you find out where the current is not, you will likely find out what breaker is causing the issue. |

I am having an identical issue to the poster of this thread. JNH, how did you resolve this issue?
