Dear all, By this posting we would like to give you a final update about the topic we started and caused so many reactions. We think you all deserve to know that, since last Friday, we have an agreement with Hanse Greifswald. We are very satisfied with the solution that they have offered us. It gives us financial compensation and the opportunity to get the boat repaired this winter. I for one am glad that this has been sorted to your satisfaction. I am sure that I speak for all in regard to a failure on the part of the manufacturer to deal promptly with this sort of problem would have had serious consequences for all of our collective confidence, future sales of the Hanse range and not the least, for our resale values. Anxious owner, please update us all when the repairs have been completed. I wish you a worry free sailing future after this. Regards Geoff |
