Hello all,

New to the forum having just acquired a 411, to be based in the Solent.

I'm just snagging a few things and one is the water pump which worked for a few minutes then stopped. Without the sound of it running, it's not obvious where it is! I wondered if anyone could advise the location of the pump please so I can test it / replace etc, without me having to unscrew the entire boat looking for it! Mine is a 2005 if that makes any difference to the gurus out there!

Hoping to meet up with other Hanse owners in the Solent and beyond, we're berthed in the Hamble on Harbour Master pile mooring near Universal.

Hello Guy,

The pump is located in the bilge underneath the first seat on port.

We are planning to visit the Solent for our summer holiday and we are leaving Holland the 14th of July

Yes found it eventually! All changed over now - gosh I wish they had put it somewhere you could get both arms in while you are lying on your back with little visibility of the fixings - but at least we have water again now!

Please do look me up if in the Hamble River, I live nearby too!
