As a new owner of a 371, I am going to keep
the boat on a swinging mooring in West Cork
What sort of bridle are members using , or
they happy to use one of the cleats on the
bow. I was thinking it would be better to
speed the load between the two forward
cleats , any thoughts?
Also the handle on the 3 way seacock is
broken , seacock is fine . Any ideas where
a replacement might be purchased

Hi Jim,
I am on a marina but i spend time down west every summer, most of the time on the visitor moorings in schull, Crook etc. I have made a bridle (20mm three strand plolypyrop) that has an eye spliced each end. It rigs from each cleat fwd through the anchor fairlead rollers and on to the mooring buoy.

Try here for a valve https://www.unionchandlery.ie/y-valves.html

Might see you down west some time.
