If our battery capacity is low e.g. below 45% on the monitor then the batteries will not charge. The charge current builds to more than 100A and cuts out. We then have wait for the solar to add current before we can charge the batteries.

Should the regulator hold the current at <100A to continue charging?

Is there something I can check/replace.
