Hi Everyone
Here's a snap of 'Cloudy Bay' our new 315 ,delivered to Windermere at  the end of January.
She's named after the delicious New Zealand wine , not ( necessarily)the sailing conditions in the Lake District !
If you visited the London Boat Show you may recognise her as the show model.
We are very much looking forward to the coming season  to sail on this beautiful lake in our beautiful boat !
Our thanks to the staff at Hanse ,and particularly Dale and James ,for their help, support and patience- we wouldn't have considered anything else !
PS Sorry if the picture has swamped the screen !Big%20smile

Looks lovely! Congratulations!

Will you keep the Hanse "wave" in the stern? It looks good and makes a lot of sense, but I am curious if it's been put there only for the boat show?

Is there a connection to the sea from the lake?

Hi Johan
The 'wave' came with the boat , and so far as I'm aware it's now standard on coloured hulls - check with your local dealer for confirmation.
We'll definately keep it as it looks great !
Regrettably we're land-locked here, so the only way off the lake is by low-loader.
That said it's very popular for sailing, with a Hanse fleet of maybe around 40 or more yachts
Windermere is around 22km long , mostly surrounded by hills which makes for interesting and sometimes very challenging conditions.
Our season starts shortly but there's sailing all year round - I suppose you guys in Sweden are still in the grip of winter.
Happy sailing and thanks for you compliments.

Nice colour Paul B.
Can you provide us with more photos?

Did you get any guarantee with respect to that colour?
The dutch Hanse dealer is kind of reserved regarding ordering a coloured hull.
According to that dealer, the colour itself is exempt from the guarantee.

Kind regards,

Here in Sweden we are stopped to go anywhere because of the ice. Hopefully, the ice will be gone in a month's time. It doesn't prevent us from spending a night aboard with dinner and a movie on the computer though.

Hi
She looks lovely, we visited her at the show and are awaiting the delivery of our new 315 which was ordered last September at the Southampton show hull No 580.
I am disappointed  that Hanse at Windermere don't appear to know when she will arrive and so we continue to wait patiently

Hi Dave

Sorry to hear you're having to endure the wait.

We were fortunate in grabbing the production slot for theLondon  Boat Show  model when we ordered ,just before the Southampton show, otherwise we'd have been ' in the same boat' !

I't'll be woth the wait , I can assure you.
Happy sailing - send us some pics when she arrives.

Hi Eduard

The coloured hull  was offered as part of the standard Hanse colour range.

I believe it's called 'stars and stripes' .If you visit their website you can try out the different colourways on each model to see how they look.

Nothing was mentioned about it not being covered by their guarantee.
I'll take this up with my dealer and let you know.

we liked the wave so had our friendly Hanse dealer make a set up for us. Sue Wink

Just for everyone's info I asked Hanse if the 'Wave' now comes as standard. I'm told that is does not - It is somthing which they use for boatshows.

I'm guessing if you like it though it can be added to the spec like Clivian here Wink

Best
Dan.
