one of my portlights in the main cabin has started leaking. Has intone dealt with this on their 415? Wondering if it’s possible to tighten the handles to that it forms a tighter seal? Looks like the handles are put on with positdrive screws and if of course I don’t have one handy.... Thx!

When my hatch started leaking I cleaned both surfaces with a cloth & smeared a light film of vasaline ( petroleum jelly) over the seal & that solved the problem

Some of the hatches have a washer/s between the handle and the hatch lens. By removing this or one washer you can get a tighter seal. I was told this by a shipwright working for Inspiration Marine. You need to remove the hatch handles to do this. Obviously you have already cleaned the ribber seal and the sealing surface on the hatch?

When mine started leaking, like Samuel it was that dirt had got into the seal. I just cleaned it with a wet rag - (didn't think of Vaseline), and it hasn't leaked since.
