Are there any experience from 430e yet? I like to order one, but a number of details seems not clear how it vill be, like helmsman seats, the picture I have seen do not match the drawings from Hanse.

Like you, I would like a bit more detail. Hanse seem reluctant to make information and in particular photos available. I couldn't go to Dusseldorf, but you would think there ought to be some info posted by now. After all the boat does exist. And putting it on the website is free. But there isn't one in the UK yet.

Hanse have some problems with 430 nobody knows when they solve it. My delivery date was begining of May now it July may be this year ------------- andrey |

I have the same problem, my boat (470e) should be delivered in the begining of may, but have been postponed several times, have you recieved a definite date for your boat?

Fjonkan I have only seen a mail from Greifswald staing that Hull N°004 will enter in production on May the 30th, and it should take +/- 3 weeks to complete the building. In fact hull and deck are already built. I know from my dealer that they have to postpone more than a few 470!! Hello, Yes I have a 430e and have had a few races. Great boat. Posted reply on winches. Have also ordered Seats and will be delivered August! Had a few Teething problems but have added a lnading platform and bought 140 overlapper, Gennaker and Spinnaker. 110 Blade to come.

| Landing platform is 1500 x 400 but drags in the water a little as it is not hinged. Transome is 250mm out of the water and platform another 100 above. Not enough dragging to affect performance. Will photograph and post. Will also photograph when moving. |

The sequence of those slot numbers is really funny to me. I ordered my 430e last September and got slot 024!
I am really very much interested in the landing platform. If it is something like on the bigger Hanses, I am afraid the backstay mounting should be replaced. ------------- s/y eMotion (H430e #24) |

Hi ! I asked my dealer about the numbers. This was "slot" numbers distributed to each dealers, and not hull numbers. This way one dealer can sell slot number 33 before another dealer sell number 11. I would like to hear more about the landing platform. I just ordered my 430, and there was no platform option. If this is available, I would like one. Where can I get more info about this ? |

| I visited the factory last July to discuss the platform and they agreed to do a similar one to the 470 but when my 430 arrived there was no platform! The one I put on was done by a local boatbuilder out of Teak and is a fixed platform. I am very happy with it other than it needs a bit of shaping to reduce the bit that gets in the water at speed. Centre back stay is no problem despite having a seized adjuster which is being fixed under warranty by Bramar. Getting a Genoa furler as well. Anyone wanting photos can email me as I havent worked out how to post the photos on the forum. |
