On my H411 I have 3 battery's, one for the motor and for the services two batteries, 100 A und 80 A.

My idea was to change this, and to put three new battery’s for the services with 100 A. (I don't change the motor battery)

The seller suggests me to put two new 180 A batteries.

I think it's a good idea, but on all the boat I knows, I never see two big batteries like this, always 2 or 3 perhaps 4 batteries with 100-110 A.

Do you know the reason?

It does not matter how you get the total capacity you need as long as the service batteries are of the "deep-cycle" or "traction" type and batteries that are connected parallel carry the same batch number.
