I've been the proud owner of a Hanse 401, built 2000, for the last 9 months. We have just completed a North Sea tour with her and I am well impressed with the boat at sea.. Our trip IJmuiden-London (St Katherine's Dock) was awesome, 5-6Bft, beating against a NWly, with 3 meter waves we managed to cover the first 90nm in 11 hours. The remaining 104 miles were somewhat slower due to the fact that the wind disapeared from time to time and turned westerly.

It is a crossing that I will be repeating for sure!
