Can now advise on our experiences with this sized headsail with a 461.

Basically superb for cruising in medium to lighter winds.

The added grunt (over the 90% blade headsail) is really noticable.  Even the boat motion feels it has more purpose - if you know what I mean.

Only downside is the 120% required another section of genoa track added, and the sail sheets around the outside of the shrouds.  So forget high pointing angles - you loose maybe 10 degrees because of this arrangement.

Can now see why the 105% is oft selected as that would sheet onto  existing tracks inside the shrouds.

Ours was a D cut dacron sail from Norths Turkey in a cruiser weight cloth.  Appears well made and certainly good value.

Hope this helps others considering alternate sail plans.

JOHN

PS  The 120 is large enough to also pole out with a full length spinnaker pole.
We know the 90 can't be poled out if running wing on wing - and not sure of the 105% will measure against a standard length spinnaker pole.

Cheers
