The file is too big to share on this forum.  Send me a private email and I'll forward the Owners' Manual v11.

Hi
I have all of my manuals and information on the sentinel app.  if you can get it set up by your dealer it is very helpful to access all of your serial numbers, drawings and owners manuals.
I am surprised at how many times I turn to it.
I am just now reading the Fischer Panda manual on the App to do some generator maintenance.

after I registered on this site I had access to all manuals, serial#'s for my electronics, warrantee information, essentially everything related to my boat build Hull ID#.
my dealer had to follow up in some way to finalize the activation.
I hope this helps

Hello, this is Martin from South Korea. I recently bought a second-hand 458 and the previous owner has lost all the manuals. So I reached to this forum and I'm desperately looking for the the manuals.

Can I also receive the manual file through e-mail? It will be really helpful for me to know by boat. My address is: jongfund@naver.com

Thanks in advance,
Martin.

The Hanse manuals are not great at detailing maintenance.

Better to find maintenance manual for each item of equipment eg Quick for thrusters & windlass, Lewmar for winches, Jefa for rudder & steering, Furlex for headsail furler etc and collate your own maintenance schedule.

I shared all my 445 manuals via a DropBox link, some may be relevant to the 458. Not looked at it for a while so hope it still works!

Hello,

Thank you for your quick and actual help. I think that 445 and 458 shares a lot of things. As you said the particular manuals by equipment would be more helpful, but the most basics seems to be in the owner manual you shared.

Thanks you again for your sincere help!

Most of maintenance is standard boat-stuff but two things to add to your maintenance that are often missed and regularly appear in forums with problems:-

(1) Jefa steering cable. It needs inspection/greasing every year. The grease is corrosion protection more than lubrication. Mine had not been greased on installation at the factory.

(2) Furler and halyard swivel. There is an annual greasing requirement in the handbook. The swivel can feel very loose when turned but jams easily under tension if dry/dirty.

Cheers.

Hope you find the information useful.

(3) Replace the seal on the Jefa autopilot drive every TWO years or you will end up in big $$$ trouble.  The seal is located on the top of the drive on the output axis.  Remove the rudder drive arm, lift the old seal with a knife and replace with a new one.
