Anyone who has mounted extra mooring clamps on the aft to enable crossed mooring lines?
Or another solution to get the lines crossed without damaging the gelcoat?
Picture for reference - I need to put my lines in a X :-)

We med moor quite frequently and not had a problem.  We don't usually use crossed lines as this restricts access for us.
I have used the backstay mounting points to add some stretchy climbing rope in a cross configuration in a swell to reduce the snatching although I wouldn't use this as the main connection point.  We keep the majority of the load on the cleats lead directly back to the dock/wall and add stretchy line or line with a compensator in a cross to keep the boat in line.
Hope that helps.
