There are already genoa tracks installed on your H400?
I have a 140% North Sails, some 52 sq.meters. Works okay for me.
Try the Search->advanced search->any date->all forums->Genoa tracks..............

For inspiration read:

(Overlapping jib effect on mainsail and vice versa)

Hi Peter:   My 2006 hanse400 came with Harken 27mm tracks.   It came with pin-stop cars but I have replaced them with adjustable 3:1 ball-bearing cars (Harken 273B) and I replaced the forward end-stop with a 3:1 end-control (Harken E2750).  I also installed turning blocks and cam cleats for the control lines.   The alternative is to just use pin-stop cars (assuming your track has pin-stop holes), but it’s hard to adjust the leeward car while sailing with these cars.
As for the sail, I have a 140% Dacron Genoa that is fairly new (3 seasons, lightly used) and am likely going to replace it with a laminate sail this winter, but it’s in Canada (and the wrong end of Canada) so it might be too expensive to ship your way.

Owen.

Many thanks. Just the info i hoped  to obtain and yes you are probably right
No point to send a Dacron sail half way around the globe.
Thanks again
Peter

Once again there are changes from year to year.
My 2007 build 400e came with Lewmar Size 1 genoa track and car, not  Harken like your 2006 build. The Lewmar Size 1 track is only 23 or 24mm wide, and marginal for rating IMHO.  I would use 30mm track minimum if doing the selection......BUT, the price for 30mm is much higher, so I understand why Hanse chooses marginal sizes...so people buy the boat. To be fair, the Lewmar track is still functional after 15 years of which 10+ years was operating 7 days a week.

Many thanks. 7 days a week for over a decade. Impressive. Mine will then last  for the next 100 years 😊💪
Happy sailing
