Hi Guys, Very strange year didn't get out much. One of the dampers has seized it has the following information on it. If a normal Web search doesn't show up a compatible strut, then I suggest you make some measurements. The key dimensions (in mm) are cylinder diameter, piston diameter, closed length and fully extended. You also need to note the end fitting thread size assuming you can unscrew the existing. 800N is the compression force in Newtons. Stainless will be more expensive. Thanks Chaps, Gas spring shop (USA), suggests that the cylinder of the gas strut is 345mm when mine only measures 255mm, so a bit wary of buying the wrong product despite it saying it is the direct replacement. Jon The link I sent you for sgs will get you stainless gas springs from a UK supplier in most of the sizes per Hahn. It was stainless tension springs that they could not supply. Regards Paul ------------- H345 #269 |
