We are looking to ad some winches and move the clutches further forward in the cockpit.

I have been told there are stiffeners Aluminium plates embedded between the winch and from where the ropes to the clutches come out from under the Fibre.

Does anyone has the diagram or actually added winches and moved clutches.

Please share photos/ diagrams

I don’t believe Hanse make extra reinforcements without any purpose to use it.

So far I know there’s now reinforcements plans for the 470 on the net.

On “wesailhanse.se “ you find a few for other Hanse (385-400-430)models and so far I can see there are no unused Allu reinforcements plates provided.

I am also looking to add/reconfigure winches on the 470e

. Have you found a solution?

Also, does anyone know the max size winch that will fit in the current lpocation
