Hi.
Has anyone installed a new sensor for the blackwater tank?
Is am curious about the process.

I am looking at philippi or BEP TS1 ultrasonic transducers, does anyone know what the input type and range is for the led sensors?

Can the tank be tilted outwards with esse, or does it need to come out for drilling and cutting?

Regards
Jes

Hi
I changed the holding tank to the plastik. Then it easy to the the level with a flashlight.
It is so/too small that I would not waste time to fit a monitor.

Thanks, replacing the tank and pipes are most likely easier, my tank is now 17 years old.

The Bep TS1 is an ultra sonic based sensor, so it doesn't have a resistance. If you have Czone, then you would configure it to output 1-5 volts and you don't need anything else in between. If you have a normal gauge, then you need to configure it to output the resistance levels desire. The tricky part, is to configure it, you need to spend another 175$ to get the USB connection regardless if you have one unit or 10. Therefore, I wouldn't touch it if I am just doing one single unit. It is just not worth it. Getting somebody to do the job depends on the cost of manpower in your area. It will probably cost more than the USB unit.

I hope this helps.
