Hi all,

Have just hurried through the Copenhagen Boat Show to see the new 350 (did also see the new 320 and the updated 370/400). On sunday Anne will take some pictures of the new Hanse.

Our first impression of the 350 is:
Pros:
It's much more roomy in the salon and in the cockpit. One can really see the 15 cm more hull beam. The wheel steering has the rigth size and suits the boat much more than on the 341/342. The overall design is good.
Cons:
Basic price does only include 7 halyard stoppers (one needs minimum 10 for optimum trim), genua winches are not included in basic price (but genua tracks are!!??)
The 2 aft lockers in the cockpit are placed too near the backstay, so they interfere with the wire when the lockers are open.

Now sitting in the sofa and wundering how much our dealer will pay for our 342 model 2006 if we order a 350? Wink

Hi Steen,

Was going to make the trip over the sound yesterday to Tuborg but ended up ender my car all day (between rain showers). Before I decide what to do today can you tell me (if you read this early enough) if the Tuborg boat show is worth a visit, not only to see the new Hanses?

Thanks

Hello Group

We are currently looking into the new Hanse 350 very seriously after nearly getting a 342 two years ago but eventually buying a beneteau (good part exchange), anyway....

I would be very interested in seeing the photos of the boat interior etc as pictures on the web are very few so far.

Also very interested in hearing the opinions of people who have seen one in the flesh

if you would be so kind as to email any pictures to mailto:tresor@blueyonder.co.uk - tresor@blueyonder.co.uk
That would be appreciated

We look for to talking about the new 350

Great to have some pictures. I am still not convinced if it is to minimalistic for us. How was the quality feeling?

Hi bjoris,

The quality seems to be at the same level as the 342 (remember this show model was hull #2 and did not have the final production finish in every corner). The only place we saw/felt a q-upgrade was on the anchor locker and the rig i.e. Sparcraft Performance instead of Sparcraft Ocean. Stay dimensions were thicker and boomvang is standard.

On the other side we also checked the other brands and though Beneteau First has modernized there interiors, the quality feeling has dropped dramaticly, we think. Dufour had gone up in quality. Salona is like Bavaria, Harmony looks cheap and Jeanneau is the same as always (mid range) Then there is a lot of Euros up to the next level.....

Hello all

Firstly thanks for the photos that gives me a lot to think about.

So far I'm not bowled over by the interior it looks very minimilist but will wait and see the boat in the flesh at Southampton boat show in september.

The layout is good however and they have made lots of space down below in the salon which is where we spend lots of evening times.

I'am looking to trade my 2006 Beneteau 343 with hanse and hopefully they will give me a fair price or i will walk Smile

I suppose with all the white bulkheads you csan put some tastefull pictures up to split up the white. The galley seems slightly smaller in storage compared to our current boat.

the main reason for change is the performance gain over our beneteau and the new 350 keel and lines looks fast. however we must be able to enjoy the inside aswell as we sail most weekends and holidays, this is where our beneteau is good for room and comfort.

anyway thanks for the pictures

and some pictures of our boat see below

Steen,

Thanks for posting the photos. Looks like Hanse has significently changed the inside layout. In general I do like the layout, particularly the position of the nav station and the table. The sofa on each side is also a nice feature. From the pictures I really question the side windows. Seems like it lets more light in but it seems a bit unusual to have an open window within a window. I think I like my original 370 windows better. I guess this is something you really need to see in person to appriciate.

Thank you for the pictures and comments. I am slowly getting used to the interior and now I think it looks great, but I need to see...

I mananged to get a private viewing of the 350 in Tuborg Havn on Monday. There was a journalist on board.

I took a few photos which I can send to any interested parties (Can someone tell me how I could post them here as 'thumbnails'?)

Noted that the pushpit rails are even smaller than previous models. An earlier post mentioned the problem with mounting accessories here.

For example: http://www.myhanse.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1482

The boom and mast were Sparcraft 'Performance' and 'Ocean'. Why?

More later, going sailing.

When will the first boats be commissioned? Are they already in production?

Franko,

If you use the "Post Reply" button at the top of this page instead of the Quick Reply box at the bottom, you should see how to upload pic's.

Hi Guys,

I know how to upload photos (tack för länken till Powertoy Johan) but was looking for an easy way to upload small 'thumbnails' for members to look at as the files can be large and (maybe) repetitive.

Meanwhile here's a recent one of the missus . . .

Hello Franko,

Thanks for the pictures that you have send to me. The outside "looks" of the boat are looking very nice to me. But on the inside there is one thing I  know for sure; "don't choose the light wood in combination with the sand-coloured clothing". With this layout the inside looks a bit clinical to me.

Is this the standard lay-out ????
