Hi.  Just a few b&g chartplotter questions

How do I get fuel and water tanks to show up?
Where can I get polars for elvestrom  sails (was supposed to be quantum fast
As of now - laylines don't work and seem to point dead to wind on starboard tacks.
Also - how do you dim the cockpit lights?
Thanks so much!

Just a few weeks ago, I have installed a dimmer for the hardtop lights. Works perfectly.
I bought this one:  https://camperelektrik.de/products/dimmerkabelsatz-inkl-dimmer-kaby" rel="nofollow - https://camperelektrik.de/products/dimmerkabelsatz-inkl-dimmer-kaby

There should be a micro-c slot at the back of the DC panel, connect it with empty simnet slot around nav.table area and then go to chartplotter->network to see if the Wurth panel is recognized by MFD

The panel is a simarine unit.

Suspect very similar procedure applies to simarine panels

Only see an empty nmea2000 connector.  Uses a proprietary can bus to communicate with its relay panel.  I guess I'll try adding it to the nmea network and see what happens.

Yes nmea uses micro-c

I connected the Simarine panel to NMEA network and are able to see fuel and water tanks, only problem I experience is once in a while the Simarine panel locks up and the only way I have found to clear it is to switch off the batteries from a min

Hi. Following up on this.
My simarine panel is connected to ethernet already. I bought a micro-c cable to hook up the simnet but there isn't a "T" anywhere close by.
Shouldn't the chartplotter see it already on the ethernet network?

Not sure on the layout of your yacht but I bought an in line NMEA T connector and you should find an NMEA cable behind the FM radio (in that area) just connect it there and then run a cable to the back of the panel …not sure what you mean Ethernet cable

Hi, there was a bug on Simarine firmware that they updated 2024 June. You will need to update it to get rid of resets.
