This piece (seems to be made of copper) is mounted at the hull underneath the galley. It is not connected to anything. Does anybody know what the function of this part could be?

Mass connection for BLU transmiter.

Guessing it is/was a grounding plate for a HF/SSB radio. If the radio is no longer onboard you don't need it.

I have the same. It is a earth grounding plate and connected to the main 12v  negative busbar.

The earthing sponge / plate should not be connected to the negative but to earth. My Hanse has an earthing point and such a plate in round for VHF radio today.
This is for interference suppression of the radio. Not absolutely necessary.
But please don't connect it to minus because then you will get galvanic currents on your boat that you don't want.

The original wiring diagrams clearly show the negative busbar connected to the grounding plate. Mine is as original and I haven't suffered from stray galvanic currents. I don't have any anodes other than on the sail drive leg and this is not connected to anything on the electrical system.
When you say earth do you mean the 240v earth?

I believe that is used by the refrigeration unit to dissipate excess heat from the compressor.  There are two on the starboard side hull of our 370.  I also think they run up through the hull so I’m very curious why you aren’t having a bilge leak.  Look under the sink bilge cover to the starboard side under the refrigerator.  There should be a couple of bolts with nuts coming up through the hull. There should be no useless pieces of anything on the hull of your boat!

Page 6 is a good place to start and then work back. I'm lucky to have worked on German ships so the language is understandable for me.
