Hi.
The "AUTO" button on the OP10 autopilot controller does not function anymore. Boat is from 2013.

Is it an issue eith the terminals / connections, or is the controller gone?

Best regards

Torbjørn

Likely water has seeped around the button and onto the circuit board.

If construction is same as IS40 (which it probably is), you can remove the back panel and try drying out the board hoping it is just water interfering with function of the buttons but also likely the circuit board is corroded and unless you are (or know) an electronics micro-surgeon, it is destroyed. I've repaired a couple of IS40 displays and they're difficult.

In the IS40, there is a fragile gasket between the back panel and main case. OP10 is probably the same, be careful not to damage it.

Do you have a friend/neighbour with an OP10 you can try on your boat to be sure?

Cheers.

Thanks, Ian.

I will try drying the internal housing and spray with CRC 2-26 or similar.

Best regards
