Hi.

I’m hoping others have solved this.  I have a new set of bow thruster batteries and the worth panel is reading 99 volts.  They test fine at 24 volts.

Is there anything I can do to fix this,  is there a setting in the worth panel?
Thanks,
-Chris

The wires sensing the voltage of all batteries are attached to the Wurth panel somewhere here, you can check the voltage at those contacts to see what it reads. I would simply turn the power to the Wurth panel off and then back on, it should reset and hopefully will show everything correctlyCool

Is it possible that the sense wires are reversed ?

If they are reversed or disconnected, it would most likely have happened at the batteries

Thank you for the replies.  I will look at the wires being reversed this week once back aboard and report back.

Hello,

I did validate the proper insertion into the Wurth panel (6B3).   The panel only has a positive connection, so no wires to reverse.

Open to additional thoughts.

Did you check the connections at the bow thruster battery location. At the battery terminals.

If you are sensing correct bat voltage in Wurth, swap the sense wire between thruster bat and house/engine bat to see what it shows. It doesnt look logical that your other bats would show the right voltage but not the thruster one

If the batteries were recently replaced then look there for the most likely error.

Voltage show 24.6 at the panel… but the wurth display shows 99.

I tried switching to the house battery slot ,  but it also will not read properly as it’s looking for 12v.

Maybe you need to reset the menu display to set the correct voltage range. Here are the instructions:  uploads/7630/Würth_DC-Panel_V2_EN.pdf" rel="nofollow - uploads/7630/Würth_DC-Panel_V2_EN.pdf

Hi

My consumer/house batteries does not share a common negative with the thruster batteries.
That was not easy to detect. And gave me trouble when wiring a remote for the thruster. Perhaps a similar issue you got?
As mentioned above try measuring near the battey or extend the negative when measuring.

Yes. The thruster 12/24 charger and the 12/24 converter (controller power) both have isolated grounds.
