I am seeking advice regarding issue I am having regarding charging my service battery bank. When I start engine and leave in neutral I can see that my service batteries are receiving charge. However when I am under way on motor no charge is going to my service batteries. Starter motor is less than a year old and Service batteries are only 2 years old. Any advice would be much appreciated
Regards
Alan

There maybe a problem with your battery combiner, it works to combine engine and service batteries if the voltage at alternator side exceeds a certain value, such as 13.2V or around it depending on the model. You can check if the combiner is open or close when you say service bats are not receiving the charge.
