Hi, I've need the dimensions of the space that the water tank occupies. I'm talking to a flexible tank manufacturer about the size. Problem is, I'm not on the boat until next year.

I'd be very grateful if someone with access to their boat, could let me know.

Working back from the fore-most, I need the following measurements - width at the front, width in the middle, width at the back, length fore/aft and depth.

Many thanks, Mark

Mark,
why do you want to get rid of the rigid PE tank? You can easily clean it.
I had a flexible tank on my last Jeanneau boat. Never again!
a) you can not install a tank gauge, so you never how much water is left
b) after 10 years I filled the tank and let the hose in as usual waiting for the water splashing out. However this never happend, a seam in the tank split and I filled the bilge with > 100 ltrs of fresh waterAngry The only good thing was that I had a nice clean bilge some hours laterSmile

Hi Frank, I'm looking at all options - Flexible, Steel and PE.

Re the flexible tank, the manufacturer sells a gauge that can measure the volume of water somehow. They sell a large range of tanks for commercial and industrial purposes. I'm asking them for a bespoke tank.

Regarding pressure from the hose, I've plumbed in an exit pipe from above the tank into the inlet pipe, that exits at the tank breather next to the deck inlet. Also, as this is bespoke, the material they propose is thicker than usual for this purpose.

As a reminder for others, I need the dimensions of the space the tank occupies.
