Dear Members

I recently purchased a Hanse 575 (2016) but need the MSO and Builder Certifcate urgently to register the boat, anyone has a contact or phone number at Hanse, I’ve been in contact with someone since early October but had no success with the follow through on my documents.

I thought it would only apply if you are buying the boat new. If the boat is already USCG registered and you are transfering its title in your name, USCG should have all the boat docs in their files.

Getting builders certificate straight from Hanse shipyard is likely impossible, they dont communicate with end users and do everything via dealer network. I had my dealer in Greifswald and they issued me the builders certificate, bill of sale, and all docs have to have English translation and carry apostile since its international entity for USCG.

When I bought my 2007 430e in 2019, the broker was able to get a Builders CE certificate from Hanse. It took a few weeks as I recall.
