Hi guys. I need to replace both of my Victron energy 165ah AGM house batteries in my 415. Should I look to source the same Victrons or have others had good experiences with alternatives? Thanks Andrew Fremantle Sailing Club Western Australia

Andrew, Victron seems to supply good products but I would think the 4WD suppliers like 4WD Supacenter have good pricing on AGM and Lithium replacements at reasonable prices. ------------- Wayne W Cruising, currently in the Pacific until the end of 2026. |

Hi, on the 415 the battery box is quite restrictive and that precludes a lot of brands, last time we replaced our service batteries we got 3 120 Ah ones and mounted them sideways as per the attached photo, this gives a few more alternatives. All the best Paul
