Curious if anyone know source (preferably US or North American) or exact measurements of O rings on the heat exchanger for the D1 30 heat exchanger.

Thanks.

Buying from Volvo looks like $30 per O ring.

Measurement is 63mm (ID) x 3.5mm.

On Amazon you can buy 5 for $7.

I would personally go for OEM, not all rubber is the same, and those O rings should last for a long time. I woudnt want to see antifreeze leaking out from the faulty connection or any other failure when I am motoring in the middle of nowhereCry

Good point.

Sourcing Volvo parts here in San Diego has been way more difficult than I would have ever thought.

Original parts have failed at 100 hours of engine time - so Volvo isn't on the top of my reliability list.

The O rings I replaced don't interface with coolant - they are for the end caps - raw water in and out.  Looking online the type of rubber I believe is the same.  They are easy enough to replace. And cheap enough to carry lots of sparesWink

https://simplybearings.co.uk" rel="nofollow - https://simplybearings.co.uk is where I buy all seals and o rings etc but with all the tariff palava going on just now it is probably not an option. Most likely there is a US equivalent.
