Good morning.  Replaced electronics this winter and am adding Halo 20+ radar which will be mast mounted.  Intend to mount it to starboard side but am trying to figure out best height and angle.  Curious what others have done.  Obviously if front mounted it would need to be above the jib sheet exit and steaming light.  If side mounted - have you mounted it 90 degrees or 45 degrees from dead ahead?  If side mounted how high?  Any pictures would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I mounted my garmin radar on the front of the mast, yes the jib does touch when tacking but slides across without catch at all, we have completed 2v seasons now without ant issues, i will check the height and come back to you

I have a Halo 20+ mounted on the front of the mast above the deck light.  It’s ok but I think I would prefer lower down and on the side.  It is so high that I think the close-in radar targets aren’t detected as well.  It also means the weight is higher up and my jib does chafe a little and sometimes my spinnaker gets snagged on the radar.
