Hi
We have a 4 year old Hanse 411. When at sea in rough weather we dislike moving behind the wheel and have decided to investigate the possibility of replacing the present wheel for a folding/ smaller Lewmar wheel. Has anyone already done this? If yes what size did you reduce to and has it affected the steering/ manouverabilty etc.

I had the same question months ago. Although I decided to keep the large wheel, there are lots of options. These options were discussed in the following thread:
