Well we are finally back online. Yay! but there is good and bad news...

I will go for the bad news first! :(

Our ISP does not keep backups and so the last backup we have of the forum is December 2004 and so we have lost 6 months of data
I have however managed to get all the user names back in so all the users should still be there!

We are now also setting up a backup process in order to secure the database in future.

Good news!

We have now made a number of modifications to the forum to make it more secure. Before we had the problem we ran version 7.91 and this was supposed to be the most secure. Well surprise surprise today there is version 7.92 (this forum is running on it even though it says 7.91). Interestingly the person who writes is was adamant that the security bug was at the ISP end but suddenly today a security update( http://www.webwizguide.info/wwf_forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=15831&PN=1&FID=1&PR=3 - http://www.webwizguide.info/wwf_forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=15 831&PN=1&FID=1&PR=3 ). So we are now running the most up to date version and have done some of our own work on securing the database more and have banned the IP Address of the hackers system.

Next bit of good news!

We have added a chat room to the site so you can now all talk... Am interested in what people think of this and we will see if it stays long term but let me know what you think.

Thanks everyone for supporting myHanse. If you have any questions please drop me a question.

What happened to the 370/400 tread?  Perhaps, now that the new models have been announced we should have a separate thread for each one.  When will the 1st 370 be ex-factory?  When will additional materials (like the video for the 400) be available for the 370?  Will the factory provide us with pictures?  Videos?  Other materials?

I have a new 370e on order for USA delivery.  How can I be kept advised of my boat's progress?

Many thanks.

Hi SilverSailor,

As per my posting we have only been able to get data back from the December 24th Backup we had and so have not been able to get all the data back and so the 370/400 thread has been lost.

Will add the 370/400 threads shortly.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hello Silver Sailor

Our new main site now includes all the information that is available so far on the 370. There is a dealer meeting in Greifswald in mid August when dealers will be presented with more information. I suggest you contact your local dealer who will keep you up to date. A photoshoot for the new boats is planned for late August
