Hello,

Many small things to do this winter, can anyone help on any of these projects ?

1. Cables from mast leak through trunk on coach roof.
2. More sound insulation for engine.
3. Extra clutches on coach roof and guides from mast base for 3rd reef and top lift.
4. Reinforce panels on coach roof at the cut out where halyard, vang and reefs run in; to go to clutches.
5. Upgrade coach roof winches to next size up and move existing to second location in cockpit for spinaker winches.
6. Permenant ventilation to rear cabins.
7. Convert bottom washboard to permenant step, when we leave it in everyone trips over it, and sometimes it needs to be in.
8. Sleeves on mast where halyard and other ropes exit from mast , a point of friction and chafe.

No1: cut holes into the white plastiktape so it will not be like a hose. See somewhere else in this forum i wrote about this problem.
No2: sound insulation is really bad. Its a nice winterjob ;-)
No3+4: no solution myself so far.
No5: Why uprgrading the ones on the coachroof? i would upgrade the other ones.
No6: If you have a sprayhood, it is no problem to open the roof windows underneath, nobody will be able to enter the boat this way. I leave the doors open most of the time. The ventilation of the bathroom is more a problem in my case.
No.7: I only have one washboard. Do you have a foto?
No8: no solution myself so far.

Leaving the boat we always open all doors in the boat so that possible humidity will not concentrate on one single point. Some leave through the deck ventilation, some through the open roof window. I think that shoul be enough.

Next year I would like to install a Vent with solar energy instead of hte deck ventilation. In the fwd cabin I will install a passive ventilation (Lewmar) in the hatch. Then there should be enough air moving in the boat I hope.

I have the Eberspächer heating. Not only for heating but it should help in summer with ventilation alone.
