I guess the new 475 is coming: Let us dream a bit of what should be changed on a new 475; it's winter time and we 461/470 owners are an innovative bunch of people I'm really proud of. Let me start:
1. anchor: a better arrangement of the windlass for the version without the arm; maybe two compartments; one for the anchor and one for sails and fenders.
2. swimming platform: a decent way to move the thing up and down. IMHO it doesn't have to be hydraulic.
3: lazerette: a better arrangement of the generator to fully profit of the space in the lazerette; maybe a floor plate on the starboard side to fix equipment.
4. cockpit: a compartement in the floor for additional equipment like i.e. the liferaft. (boiler moved under bed)
5. main sheet: the old question: lead in cockpit or roof placed like now. But why not thinking of another possibility to be able to close the leech of the main without having to put enormous load on the kicker and the main sheet.
