Gefeliciteerd!!

Groet, Rob

Yes, congratulations!

Now you can stop waiting and start having fun - and can start finding out where everything is on board! I am certainly enjoying Selene, although going for a short sail yesterday in 2 Celsius and a Force 5/6 wind was distinctly chilly. Still, I got to prove she will go to windward surprisingly well under just the jib alone!

Congratulations! A very nice boat indeed!!
Tell me, you dont seem to have an antifouling painting or is is just white on your boat?

Hey , there is no anti fouling on the boot. Next week they spray the anti-fouling on the boot.  Color : Black like the boot on the photo

Hmmm...maybe I should repaint my boat with black instead of trying to find the right mix to get the grey color I have today. It would sure make it more easier in the future.

Why not alternate the colour every year
That way you have an idea how far you have sanded & whether you are about to attack the gell coat

Hi siler congratulations to your nice boat,

I ordered the 350 #359 called Tacama, so it is the little sister of your Stingray. But I have to wait to the middle of april.

I saw at your pictures, that you choose the mainsheet traveller in the cockpit and the cabin layout A1/B1/C1 with aft head and one double cabin aft. These things I choose too.

So I have some questions.

1.Do you choose the NX40 Simrad Plotter?

2. What kind of pedestal head do you have on your steering pedestal.

The large pedestal head with the  standard guardrail, if it works together with the mainsheet traveller in the cockpit.

Or this pedestal head on the picture with  an extended guardrail with instrument pod.

Good luck and a lot of fun

regards Carsten

Hi Carsten,

Perhaps this photo gives you an impression of the pedestal.

Peter

The traveler passes the steeringcolum
Only you have to watch out for a gipe in stronger winds.
It is possible the sheet swings around the colum , but that can also happen with the standard steering colum
greetings Marcel
(we have had a gipe ones wenn the sheet dit swing around the steering colum, but ones warned it will not happen again)

Hello Marcel,

We've got the same problem with gybing.
In my opinion it's hazardous because we try to clear the sheet from the pedestrial by hand. There's always the danger of getting stuck in the lines.
I've been thinking about replacing the attachement somewhat further to the front.

He, de boot is in Andijk.

Hoi Stingray!
My home harbour is Stockholm, Sweden Smile.
If you have the same masfoot that we have you should be able to add some more mastfootblocks. I looked int o some drawings from Hanse and it shows that you should be able to have 5 blocks on every side but drawings are not always correct.Follow this link and you find a high resolution picture http://www.hanseyachts.com/#/index.php?id=1073&type=666 - http://www.hanseyachts.com/#/index.php?id=1073&type=666

Hey, we are sailing for tree day's. Enough wind and not so many sunshine. The feels good but an few small things are not good . Some ropes have "uitstulpingen" . I mail Hanse if they now from this problem.

Hi!
We had those too on our ropes. I just yanked back and forth the rope, pulled the outer layer, twisted and so on till they disapeared. seems to be normal "problem".

This happens if the rope hangs on a small hook. A small hook on the way of the rope in example in the gelcoat is enough and this happens. You should try to find this "hook". It could also be a small burr in the Aluminium of the Mast or in the cutted outlets of the Mast
