Hi All , I went on board yesterday at the Sthmptn Show, Initially a WOW factor
but all Hanse's have that pretty much.
Only a shade longer than my 430 but felt huge inside, not sure how it will sail though, compared with the 430 whom all the hanse guys love.

Not sure about the glass wash bowl i have one at home and even there is rubbish after a while !!. I do feel the quality is lacking for some reason, still a lot of boat for the money. I was thinking of going upto 470 but the 430 ticks the boxes for the moment.

Hi,

Anyone who has been onboard the Hanse 445 know how much headroom there is in the saloon and the heads?
I´m 193 cm and wonder if I will be able to stand upright below deck.

Nice boat, but it looks like the rig is from Sparecraft, I thought that Hanse decided to use Selden from now? The dimensions of the vang looks for me a little bit tiny maybe borrowed from a Hanse 350 or less?.

Hi
No problem with the headroom. I'm 1,87 and it was at least 20 cm between me and the ceiling.

Hi

We looked at the 455 at Southampton BS and we were impressed with the presentation of the 455. but wondered about some of the detail holding up over time. Glass bowl for instance.
Size wise compared to our 430 it appeared more spacious in side but when you compare the figures it was only 25cm longer and 13cm wider, rig wise it is a heavier boat with a smaller rig .5 ton heavier but with 30m/sq less sail area. So probably less performance.

Hi Folks,

I have been lucky enough to sail the 445 three times now in 8 knots, 15 knots and 23 knots of wind and it appears that Judel Vrolijk have managed to perform another miracle.

She scoots along in light wind very happily - so no lack of power.  Anything wind speed in the teens, it absolutely loves and flies upwind, very close to the wind and with a lovely light feel on the hem too.

We put the first reef in when it started gusting 23 knots and she just flattened off a bit and went the same speed.

The sparcraft performance rig is a really nice beefy section and the whole feel of the yacht under sail is very very solid.

May just be my favourite model to sail at the moment.....mind you the 375 takes some beating!
