Has anyone had any problems with there forward engine mounts? The bracket for the 24v alternator supplied by Yanmar fixes to the engine block with the same fasteners as the fwd two engine blocks. These bolts are very difficult to inspect. I would advise everyone to take a close look at this especially the port fwd block as it is directly beneath the raw water pump and the bolts get doused in salt water whenever the pump housing is opened!

Although we have a Volvo engine, we normally have to change the engine mounts every year or so since they shear off. Personally, I don't think it's a Volvo or Hanse problem, but from the vibrations of the Gori prop. Don't know if you have the same problem, or with a Yanmar engine it's a different problem.
