I will go in June in North Sardinia and Arcipelago della Maddalena. Any suggestions? (Port and marinas to avoid, meteo suggestion, safe place to anchor)

A great choice of cruising area at the best time of year.Long days,not too busy and water temperature about 20 degrees
Meteo best from Meteo France (Corse) on the web or VHF (I think channel 79 at about 7.30,12.30 and 19.30 every day.) I also use Wind Guru/ Porto Pollo on the web.
Harbours/anchorages-I assume you will call in Elba or Corsica on the way south.We like Portofererraio(Elba), P,Vecchio and Rondinara(Corse) if coming down the east side.
Crossing the Bocche di Bonifacia try to pick a good forecast as wind and sea can really increase as you clear Corsica.
Maddalena Islands are very beautiful and there are many anchorages with good shelter depending on wind direction.Always check if a Mistral is blowing in Golf de Lyon as you will get strong or Very strong W/NW in the islands within a day or so and it may blow for a few days.Most of the area is a national park and some anchorages have excellent mooring buoys ,payment is collected by park officials by small boat.(expect to pay about 20 euros per night).Amongst our favourites are Porto Palma and Stagnali on Caprera,Cala Lunga on Razzoli,Porto Pozzo and Golfo Arzechena on Sardinia.
Harbours include Bonifacio(Corse) with its amazing entrance ,La Maddalena old harbour (our favourite and a great place to shelter in mistral)),Palau(usually very busy),Porto Cervo (expensive but worth one night to view the amazing boats).This is just a few places you could visit but there are many ,many others within a day sail.Have a great time-if you see Gulliver of Man (301)please give us a shout.

north sardinia during june/early july is fantastic!

Good suggestion from Gulliver.

If you came fron north, dont miss Porto Vecchio, Santa Giulia, Rondinara Isola Piana (South Corsica); Bonifacio is a must and Lavezzi Isle a jewel in the Bocche (good anchorage in Cala Lazzarina, Cala di Giunco , beware meteo).

Maddalena island is nice: moorings in Cala Gavetta and another cloose to Cala Gavetta ; good prices in june...but call for asking...

Near Madallena there is Caprera, were is a bautiful , small bay: Cala Coticcio, also named "Tahiti" (who kows why...?)

A very very sure anchorage is Porto Palma.

Maddalena, Santo Stefano and Caprera are very close each other.

In front of Caprera, at only few miles there is Poltu Quatu, and is Marina dell'Orso (yu can visit it on web); glam, sure and practic place for navigation in Maddalen Channel: good prices in june, very expansive in july and august.

Westward there is Santa Teresa di Gallura (just in front of Bonifacio, 6 miles far): good marina and nice place (visit Capo Testa !). Near S.Teraesa there is a very sure fjord : Porto Pozzo. Some miles est from there is the beautiful Porto Pollo anda Isola dei Gabbiani, know as the paradise of wind surf.

Porto Cervo is very expansive, but may be there is, now, a "campo boe".

Going south very good anchoirage with west winds: Golfo del Pevero, Cala di Volpe, Ramazzino, and the marina di Portiscoa (close to expansive Porto Rotondo).

If you came from south or you have same days to spent, dont miss the places same miles south Olbia: Tavolara, Molara, S.Teodoro etc. Fantastic places, with non so much people also in july.
