Happy delivery and sail home from Hanse 325 #19 S/Y Spiralis
My boat was delivered to me in Greifswald Friday March 18th. The delivery was due the monday before, but because of lots of ice in
Greifswald it was delayed by five days. my initial plan was to have five days before sailing home to Norway just in case there was something that needed fixing. All flights where allready booked and my crew had taken time of from work so this did not work. Spiralis was delivered Friday, and we sailed Saturday morning. We spent most of Saturday playing on the Greifswalder Bodden just to familiarize ourselves with the boat before crossing over to Denmark/Sweden. The yards handover guy was friendly and professional. Spiralis was the only boat being handed over, so he could take his time with me. He had his checklist, and I kept an eye on MarcoCs list. everything seemed to work. We had some problems filling the tanks with fresh water, as the jetty was not really ready for the season, and all water was shut off or frozen. we managed with hoses from W&R on the quayside. The trip home went without problems. We realized that we where a bit early in the season as we met very few leisure crafts on our return to Norway.  we sailed as follows: Greifswald - Stralsund - Skanør - Helsingør - Skagen - Horten. We had some 36knots of wind straight against us tha last seven hours towards skagen. this gave us an opportunity to really check all the hatches for leakage, it was all good and dry.

Hi Hegar!
I'm impressed that you took delivery this early. And also a bit jealous, as my 342 lies on dry land for another month or so. BTW, nice to get another Hanse in Horten, mine is harboured in "Solviken".

Hegar, I'm very impressed that you picked up your boat so early this year! We picked up ours in May and felt time o time that we will freeze our fingers off. I cant even imagine how cold you had considering that you had I on the boats deck!!!

Congrats to your new boat, it's beautifull, as all the ladies from Hanse-family.

If you have something to add/change to the checklist, please let me know.

Marco
