(I was unsure whether to put this in the Chit-chat or Cruising section but decided to go for the latter)
After a looooooooong winter, today was the day to make the first trip of the season. The ice in my harbour finally gave in to what was warned for as a "storm" but turned out to be one or two degrees less windy. I have the wind to thank for the quick last step into spring so I don't mind calling it a "storm" if it makes anyone feel better. 
I did not make this trip single-handed, I did it single-handed with a handicap, i.e. with a child and a dog. This is a degree more difficult that just single-handed. I have to remind you of this, even though the two obstructions behaved themselves well above my highest expectations. 
We left quickly (if you call a few hours of tidying up the boat quick) to catch the hourly opening of the Liljeholmen bridge, anchored to have lunch just after the brigde, and set the sails in the gusty winds in the early afternoon. As a tradition, I choose to make a loop on one of the innermost waters of Stockholm, the Riddarfjärden. 
This was also a big day because it was the day I could hoist the myHanse burgee for the first time while under sail. 
Just like last year's first trip I had a problem finding a harbour for the night because there was still ice in the first three of the harbours I had thought of. I had to improvise and found a marina where we will spend the night, hoping that no one will ask us to leave. That would be a silly thing anyway, considering how early in the season it is. 
There is a slight possibility that another member of this forum will spot his own Hanse in the background of this picture. At least think I spotted it when I docked. Great pictures, Johan And yes, since your first trip is a real cruise they are well placed in the cruising section. Isabel is developing into a experienced sailor  Cruising reminded me about summer and no ice in the harbour as I found this picture of my daughter, Kirstine, having a good time with Isabel.
