Hi

Can someone recommend a charterer (perferably of Hanse's, but not required) with attractive prices and good references?

We are looking for Croatia, Spilt/Dubrovnik area but other areas are of interest.

Thanks
Johan

Hi

It can be hard to find Hanse models at some professional charter companies due to that they mitigate operational quality issues by avoiding some brands which I have been told by a friend who has invested money in a French yacht managed by a charter company.

We rented a bareboat 2 years ago in Croatia, it was an Elan 344 (domestic yachts is expected to be price efficient).
We are very pleased with the brooker service offered by Yacht-base

They have several Hanse models listed

When I had a test sail in Croatia back in 2008, the hanse fleet was brought by Royal Sailing in Zadar.
Swanji's HANSE 350 was one of the flleet...
I did rent  (chartered) the yahct myself but i know they have (had) some Hanses

I chartered a Dufour 34e from Ban Touring in October 2011. They are based in Rogoznica which gives easy access to central and northern Croatia. Have a chat to Sino who owns the company. He is really helpful and his boats are very well maintained. They have a fleet of Dufours to choose from including the new Dufour 335 and the bigger yachts in the range.

This is their website address

Marina Frappa has first class facilities and is really close to the Split airport.

I have no interest in Ban Tours by the way

If you want a Hanse and a trustworthy charter company I suggest you contact Royal Sailing in Croatia. They are Hanse agents and we left our boat with them to look after over the winter a few years back and were very pleased.
The guy to email is mailto:velimir@royalyachyts.hr" rel="nofollow - velimir@royalyachyts.hr . He is a first class guy - their website is http://wwww.royalsailing.com" rel="nofollow - http://wwww.royalsailing.com . Mention my name or Savarna to him as I am sure he will remember us.

The marina at (Sukosan) Zadar  where they are based is very close to the airport.

Cheers
Keith
