For some of you who think that the platform is to heavy for a quick swim I saw this ladder on a 470 in Spain

For some of you who are questionning about Davits here is also on the same boat a Davit made by Osculetti. They strong enough for a large dinghy with motor and when not in use they are telescopic.
You pull them vertically and release the break the slide them down in the cockpit floor..

I like the look of the davits in your photo. I gather the stbd one is retracted and out of shot. I will have a look on their website for spec.

I love this retractable poles to hang the dinghy... where do you get them..? i have google davits and can not find their website..thanks

That's the one and I know somebody who has one in is store for 4 years now. He is a Hanse dealer and dosen't really know or care about having it laying there.

By the way this is a davit that I regret not buying. I went for the large arch with solar panels and all the stuff but this one is effortless very solid dinghy installation.
