Hi,
that the same Place which I have in my 470. You'll loose a lot of Space in the Lazaret! The better place is around the engine. Think about it!!

The loss of place is not too bad if you put the generator to the outside.  On our 470 we even managed to install a big Schenker watermaker (60l/h) in front of it. (s. pic with shelf on top it for storage.

I can tell you after many months at sea using the generator the position is great and the noise level with it being in the stern is much lower than above the main engine or behind as with the 575. You almost don't know its even running.

Hi guys
On my 430 I've installed the generator forward of the water tank in the space you would fit a bow thruster.
It works fantastic, keeps the boat balanced rather than putting all the weight in the stern, and of course you can drain of 100 litres of water and mitigate its weight entirely.

Hi Iemand
The exhaust goes forward into the anchor locker, the skin fitting is positioned low near the anchor locker drain
